I’m a product designer based in Longmont, CO. I first became interested in design while pursuing a degree in information systems and learning how to build websites and apps from the backend. I thought: at the end of the day, there’s always a person using these complicated systems — how can I make things easier for everyday people to use? I discovered there’s an entire profession built on that idea, started learning as much as I could about it, and never turned back. Well, except that one time I started a wedding floral studio but that’s another story.
As both an in-house and freelance product designer, I’ve worked with teams at TerraTrue, Sunday, Wineshipping, and elsewhere. I love to look at the big picture to see how things can work together, and then get really meticulous about the details to make sure that vision gets carried through. I’m detail-oriented, focused, and care about delivering the best experience for the person at the other side of the screen and beyond.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, sewing, and whatever other creative endeavor inspires me at the moment.
